Ok, just a quick comment from me also ... First, Črna Luknja (Black Hole) store has propper terrain, but we had to play on TCG/boardgame tables, as half of the terrain and tables was taken to another location for a WH torunament and the other half was already in use, because it was WH afternoon. So if anyone finds themselves in Ljubljana, don't be afraid, there are propper (green) tables to play on and there is propper terrain. Stefano can testify to that, I've shown him the giant arena/colosseum-with-neighbourhood piece some guys built from scratch. Not only the playing areas, I also look better in reality. It was a day of extremly bad and depressive weather and that sometimes gets to me. I'm a rather happy chap, truth to be told. And I look better. ;P What you see in the third photo is indeed some small gnoll dog/hyena thingy that managed to beat the nasty elf. Stefano can provide the stats of the thing, I forgot them, but it was basically a dog. Or a hyena. But the elf got up quickly and made himself some gnoll-kebap. So, I had general fun allround, even though I've lost spectacularly (looking forward to a re-match, Stefano! . If anyone else happens to pass by (Ljubljana is within easy driving distance from Klagenfurt, Trieste, Venice and Zagreb), do give me a ring and I will show you the wonders of our little FLGS.

You're most welcome! I'd also like to come to Trieste sometime in the future and in this case I'll let you guys know about it.

I wish I knew about you guys and the store back when I visited Slovenia in 2008! Who knows? Maybe one day I'll be back. With scenery like this, it's hard not to:

Nice pics...I actually visited some of those places, too. I just put in my best couple of shots, though.
So, are your team and mine going to make it out of the World Cup bracket together and leave England and it's 0-0 tying mentality behind...?
Seriously, I loved Slovenia, and promised to take my girlfriend back to Lake Bled one day. So, when I do return, we'll be sure to look you guys up...!

I don't know if you can view these without logging on, but here are some pictures from travels around Slovenia by a very good friend of mine; www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?id=682587758&aid=79889&s=0&hash=ac7bf02cd31118491abfc9a1282f53ef I must say I follow the World Cup with one eye only, but it would have indeed been interesting. Ours will have to work hard against England, but those in the know (or saysing so themselves ) say it's not impossible. Certainly! Perhaps I can even recomend some romantic places, a good restaurant and whatnot! Maybe there will be even time for a game or two! We'll call the Trieste guys also, so there will be a jolly company.
