Welcome Sir.
It might be worth checking out the Yahoo group as I'm sure there are paper gamers on there as are some ideas for solo games.
Also have a look at One Monk, they did a range of free fantasy figs.

Link: www.ganeshagames.net/ The link for the Yahoo group is at the bottom of the page. The group has a lot more activity than this morgue ;D and the rules authors are usually knocking about. Regards Steven.

Hi all,
I just picked up Song of Blades and Heroes to scratch the larger scale skirmish itch (I use Savage Worlds for RP & small skirmishes)
I hope to get some games in soon!

Hi,
My name is Omer Golan-Joel and I'm a relatively new wargamer from Rehovot, Israel. I'm interested in buying SBH soon in order to introduce my spouse to miniature wargaming (she already plays Talisman and D&D).
Yours, Omer

Gamer from Calgary, Alberta, Canada here. Had the SBH rules recommended to me a few weeks ago and ended up buying almost the whole catalog of available games shortly after trying out my first game. I play lots of skirmish games, but the SBH system is smooth and easy to teach to others. Far more so when compared to some other more established games. I'm looking forward to playing more games using the engine at my local club, and will post any game write-ups on my blog. I wrote a review of the new edition of SBH there last week. obsidian3d.blogspot.ca/2012/10/song-of-blades-and-heroes-review.html
