I'm thinking about make some LOTR army for SAH, but I'm not sure wich models to use. In 10mm there are the copplestone's one, thery are fine and good to cover Roahn, Gondor, Isengard and Sauron's army. I have no idea if there is any 15mm for lotr. Anyway my question is: wich scale is better? I'm tempted by 10mm because they look like a bigger army. What do you think?

The Copplestone Castings range in 10mm is excellent.
In 15mm though you would need to mix and match as there is no single line to cover LotR, but it might not be hard to find some that will look the part.
Personally I would go the 15mm route as I prefer to paint them over 10mm. Do you have a preference to one size or the other?

I have lots of Copplestone 10mm and its great. 15mm wise there is stuff like Black Raven Foundry and Eureka's 18mm Fantasy line - both great lines, but I've really enjoyed painting up the 10mm stuff.
Cheers, Ben.

I've never tried 10mm, so i'm a little bit curious about painting and modelling them. Also I think that they can give a better "mass look" on the battlefield.

Umm.. I see
Another question, what do you think about "Battle of Five Armies" miniatures? There's a copy in my local store, and for just 60 euros I'll get a lot of miniatures. I know that quality is worst than copplestone or other metal 10mm miniatures, but is too bad? I've calculated that I'll spend almost the double for the same amount of metal miniature...

I have not seen the 'Battle of Five Armies' minis, but it does sound like a good deal.

The battle of the five armies plastics are smaller than most current ranges of 10mm figures.
