> three letter special rule abbreviations.
Yes, if you want to use the macro's, you need to use the 2 letter abbreviations as described by my tokenbuilder. (The macro's look for the 2 letter abbrevs, so they wont detect any special rule if you use the 3 letters)

i dindnt know you had implemented the special rules in any of the macros. i used three digit abv.s b/c i didnt think 2 would be diverse enough. ill change 'em using the codes you came up with, but we should post them so that they are easy to inteperit.

I implemented all the rules of the basic book. So you don't have to add things if you have one of those rules. (for example, if you have poison, the combat will automaticly roll a 1d6. The italic line under the combat roll is the "what-if-I-win" line. It shows the results. (try giving a token tailslap and use combat). Mostly it are simply reminders, but sometimes (like hero) it's important for the calcullation. (Of course, things like big and huge are context dependend, so they should be done with the combat modifier)

Maybe it is time that I post a small notice here. Like I said, I'm busy with my finals, so the work on SoBH for RPtools (SoBHfRPT) goes slower. Not the less I have had time to tweak a few things.
I have taken a look on the campaign file, and saw the characters have special rules not contained in the basic book (and thus the basic macro's). So I have now also added the rules for SoGD en SoWW in the macros. This brought my attention to the fact that it gets a bit hard to remember all the two-letter abbreviations for the special rules. So the tokenbuilder has gotten more attention. A person should only use the tokenbuilder to rapidly make a new warrior. As of the moment it is not finished, and following things will be implemented in time to come:
1. Set the right 'sight' (= movement) based on the size and the movement skill, 2. Create a magic button on the token, for each type of mage a different one;
3. Change the 2-letter name in the builder to the corresponding special rule (you can choose the full name, but it only displays the 2-letter name if you reopen the builder for a certain token)
4. create an halo for personalities (the detection of personality or not must be done manual) and let you choose the color,
5. in case of a leader, also apply an aura, based upon color and size.
After this, certain other things have to be implemented before I call the framework finished: The state-switchers. First I need to make states, and give them an appropriate image. I already have ideas: statename : image 1 wound : blood runs from the top of the round marker and in the right top counter a blooddrop with the number 1. 2 wounds : the same, but with a 2 . . . 6 wounds : the same, but with a 6 death : a black circle that covers everything with a white opaque skull fallen : the left top corner has a broken shield transfixed : in left bottom corner appears small green zigzag lines, and the whole token is coverd in such lines entangled : gray spiderwebs cover the whole token and in the bottom, the position right of the corner, contains a mini spiderweb. (Best imagine the bottom of the token split in 6, so there can be 6 different markers. Transfixed is in the first position, entangled in the second and so on) distracted : a purple spiral over the whole of the token, and a miniature icon of that in bottom-3 missile expenditure : a broken arrow, or an arrow with a red x over it in bottom-4 (no other indicators) magic failure : a wand or rune or other magic icon, with an indicator of it being broken ( a red rune, or a red x over it), in bottom-5 postion. stealth : just as blood is dripping from the top, grass is sprouting from the bottom to the middle, and the right bottom corner (bottom-6) has a small thief-mask in it. activated : gray-opaque circle that pops up on hovering over with the mouse (as is the case now)
To make it easy, the states should not be set, but should be controlled with macros, the so called state-switchers: hurt! will check which wound-state is activated, if any, and replace it with the following wound-state or death if the quality reached 7. This should also replace the quality. (Note to myself: create a Quality_basic and Quality-current property) heal! would do the same, but in the other direction. Missile expenditure will just be a 1d6 that changes the state to 'broken arrow' if the result is 1. Magic failure will be implemented into the magic-activation button that will be created on magic user tokens. A 'move into the shadows' button and an 'Already used' button should also be available. But for the moment I do not know if it is possible to change the states of all tokens belonging to one player at the same time. If this is possible, I can create an End the turn button. If this is not the case, the 'Already used' button and state will probably not being made. And of course a Transfixed/Entangled/Distracted macro that checks if the target receives that state if it doesn't resist the roll, or removes this state. A were-macro that evokes the builder so you can change the skills and points. But this will be simplistic.
I also have to create buttons for 'Teleport' and 'Mutations', and the question is where I should place them. Keep them general in the campaign panel, or create them on the token if one of those two special abilities are selected? I think I'll opt for the latter. More work to implement, but it is nicer.
Afterwards, I plan on creating a few screencap video's as a tutorial. One will deal with the set-up of the maptool for optimum use for SoBH (2 a 3 minutes) and then one or two (I think one will be to long) that explain the different macro's and to show how to create a token with the 'build'-macro. A short written version will also appear on the forum. But now it is still study-time.
Good playing, Bruno

my goodness youve been busy. there are a lot of special rules out there and that could get combersome, but for unusual cases im sure that the basic chat roller will suffice. if you get all of those macros implemented playing will be a sinch. i havent been able to invest much time either b/c of work, but hopefully we can get a few games going before long.
if you need help knocking out some of the graphics you described id be more than happy to make a few.
