Do shotguns get the -1/-2 etc. to C for additional targets like auto fire weapons?.
Also do they count the range modifiers like other ranged weapons?.
Thanks for any replies.

I would say they do not. With auto fire you are trying to steady and aim a weapon that is belching lead over a large area, so it is difficult to control. A shotgun is simply one shell that can affect a large area due to the buckshot.
Also do they count the range modifiers like other ranged weapons?.
I would say yes. From experience it is still easier to hit things closer than further away, even with the area saturation of the pellets.
This is how we play both Fear and Faith and Flying Lead.

I'd agree with Charger about shotguns, makes sense.

Are there special rules for different types of shotgun ammo? I'm thinking about purchasing F&F and have an affinity for shotguns. ;D

No special rules, sorry. We don't focus a lot on weapons in FF. Maybe some special weapons will appear in the supplements. If you have ideas, feel free to post them!

Andrea - thanks for the info. It's not a problem, I was just wondering. Nothing a little house rule couldn't fix. FYI, I was thinking of slugs instead of buckshot.

A shotgun with slugs could be a flat +2 C and no "spread" damage.
