Hi all, I wanted to post this. Flying Lead inspired me to start AND finish this project. The whole project is documented here www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=222633&id=515062536&l=ebc4e7d2bf It is in 20mm or 1/72 figs scale. I started by designing a standard template in Visio (which I will freely give or post) so that the stories, doors, and windows are all a uniform size, then transferred onto the 1/8" foamboard (I have WIP shots of this whole project too, if I can figure out where to host them all here) ...so the awesome Flying Lead rules (and the constant tease of a fabled WW2 supplement ) inspired me to branch out from my usual 28mm scale, and work smaller. I can't wait to play on it next weekend (probably need to gravel or at least paint the 2x2' board this all fits onto) What do you think?? and yes, I can take criticism Attachments:

Thanks!. There is a story behind this, my uncle got me into gaming when I was 8 years old. He also recently hipped me to Flying Lead, so I bought and printed my copy and here you are. My Uncle is inclined towards the figure-painting aspect of the hobby, me...I can never finish an entire army, I just start a bunch.....I like terrain best. My Uncle can't paint as well nowadays due to a condition which causes his hand to shake. However, he loves to Game, so I built this city for him after playing a few fun-filled games and some beer-laden conversation about the idea of Stalingrad in gaming. I built a few Medieval-ish buildings for him in this scale, and then jumped right into this project. The two bigger buildings I built from photographs of real Stalingrad ruins, just to get the feeling for how that type of construction would crumble if he floors pancaked in I , of course, had to compromise level of detail to playability, so every partial floor has enough rubble-free flat area to support a mini based on a penny.
