Play testing at the moment. I am waling through my first combat and I a have become confused.
The American Shield is doing a ranged attack (not the ability) on a grunt (normal guy)
AS rolls to successes on quality and takes the aimed shot.
AS shield rolls a 2 and added to his combat of 5 is a 7
Grunt rolls a 1 and added to his combat of 3 is a 4
Here are my questions:
Is the pure roll with out the bonuses what I am looking at in terms of doubling ( I roll 4 he rolls a 2) or including the bonuses?
Dice are odd. I roll for effect for the grunt on the Damage Table
Please Explain 1d3, is that rolling 1d6 and halfing the score, rounding down?
Win on a odd die roll: Glancing Blow roll 1d3, + half power - defense
When I am adding the + Power, what am I adding? Half my accuracy? In this case it would be a 1. Grunt has no armor.
In addition, since I chose aimed shot, is that a +1, if so, when I add it., it doubles the grunts score ( AS 7+1 Grunt 4+0) is he knocked out/ dead ( I am thinking SBH maybe) automatically? Or do I still have to roll damage?
Thanks
