Hi all With KTMH coming out before too long i was wondering who makes the best chosen one miniature ? Any suggestions?
i know theres a nice one from Hasslefree (used in the KTMH playtest pics) and a Vampyre exterminator female with crucifix, stake and stake-gun from Ground Zero Games (But this one's kinda small) and a slightly misshapen one in Horror Clix
Are there more that people know of? cheers Dex

There are a number of good/appropriate models available in the Heroclix range...
However, it depends on how you want your Chosen One armed...
Some good ones are:
Chase Stein - Hammer of Thor set Holly Mayes - Hammer of Thor set Sharon Carter - Secret Invasion set Cuckoo - Mutations & Monsters set Jessica Jones - Sinister set Echo - Armour Wars set Tiger Lily - Indy set Sydney Savage - Indy set Aphrodite XI - Indy set Magdalena - Indy set Natalie Kassel - Indy set Witchblade - Indy set Abby Chase - Indy set
For the Chosen One's magical Witch pal... you could try...
Nico Minoru - Hammer of Thor set Scarlet Witch - Avengers set Jubliee - Supernova set
I got these in a few minutes... if I get time I'll do a more complete list.

Andy I would also suggest Blink from the Mutant Mayhem release and the Huntress from either Batman Alpha or Hypertime. I actually made a mod for a vampire hunter using Blink's head and arms and Huntress's body. It turned out pretty good, I just need to paint it. There were also Blade figures made in Infinity Challenge and Mutant Mayhem. Huntress Blink

Hasselfree also does Willow in additon to two really good Not-Buffys. There are also a bunch of other figures in their adventurer range that will work.

What's your take on her? I know she is from the Dark Heaven fantasy line but I always thought she kind of walked that line where she could be either fantasy or modern.

I think she's perfect for a modern "goth like" girl

I ahve the Hasslefree "Witch Hazel" (Willow) and their version of the slayer. They are great figures, I highly recommend everything from Hasslefree to be honest. In answer to your question, I think that Hasslefree make the best Chosen one, although the figure shown in the CoolMiniOrNot link is pretty good too. On a related note, I am having difficulty finding the rest of the cast from Buffy in miniature form. Does anyone reading know where I might be able to get reasonable miniatures approximations of the following Buffy characters: Xander Harris Rupert Giles Oz Any other figures that would fit in to Buffy themed games would be great really. The girl in the Reaper sett above would make a good Cordelia as she looked in Buffy, not as apt for her appearance in Angel. I painted up the figure below as an approximation of Adam from Buffy season 4. It isnt perfect, but it is close enough I think (sorry about the crappy photo). Adam

This priest from Reaper might be able to turn into a Giles. www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Chronoscope/latest/50081I know at one point Kev at Hasselfree was talking about making more but I'm not sure if he still is. I know his Spike ended up becoming something else. In general, is everybody talking about according to the TV show or is the Season 8 comics by Joss Wheadon fair game too?

Huntress Bear in mind that Huntress fig is *tall.* Like, 35mm-ish. If close scale is important, might want to look elsewhere. Good call on the Blink fig, though.

She's no taller than Blink. Like I said, I used parts from a Blink and parts from a Huntress to make a separate figure so the scales are close. Huntress was from the first DC set and the scales were not as bad as current Heroclix.
