As announced on TMP: theminiaturespage.com/news/824519/Ganesha Games and Dragonblood miniatures are working on Song of the Shadowsea. This will be a variant SBH book-- it will include the basic SBH rules and a background, troop types and appropriate special rules. Some info is on the Dragonblood site; more to follow. The book is written, we'll be looking for playtesters soon-- watch this space. Andrea

I went to buy up on their Troglodytes in advance... can't find them Very bad news. Does anyone know if Eric is still going ahead with the book? I thought it was going to be quite cool. Cheers, Ben.

If this doesn't fall through I would love to sign up to play test. I just found out about this line last week and I was immediately drawn in by the line (particularly the Dark Mariners) and was hoping that a game would come out. Fast forward to the 19th and my elation upon seeing the announcement for a game based on this world suddenly crashes with the announcement of Dragonblood closing up shop.
In any case, yeah, I am buying as many minis as my wife will let me I can get my hands on so I'll be good to go for testing if this thing still has life.
Who knows, maybe someone else will pick up the molds Helldorado style?

Good stuff! I am really happy that the line got picked up again (particularly since the Dragonids riding the dinosaurs seem to have sold out -- I will get those in the future after finishing the Dark Mariners).
I need to start getting an impression of the Song of Blades and Heroes mechanics, this is all new to me.
EDIT: Does anyone have the background material from the Dragonblood site? I am wondering about which models work together, like Thulaja, is she an Amazon?
I haven't played any of the other Songs games, are creatures, like the Skullcracker, NPC's? Or can they be used by a warband?

All models produced will be included in Shadowsea (new working title; no "Song of" just Shadowsea) and all will be usable as warband members.
