Flashing Steel Stat Formula

I am having a heck of a time discerning what formula is being used to calculate stats for the pre-generated characters in Flashing Steel. For example, Nathaniel Butler on page 31 is shown to have 41 ability points with Q4 and C3. Using the standard formula from FL and SOBH it would look like this:

(((3 * 5) + 41) * (7 - 4)) / 2 = 84

He is shown to cost 64 points.

Some of the pre-gen'd characters work out right, but many don't.

Am I missing something?

Problem solved. I completely overlooked the table on page 4! I didn't expect a different formula.

The new formula is:

(((3 * 5) * (7 - 4)) / 2) + 41 = 63.5 (rounded to 64)
