Newly into the system, looking forward to testing it out. Stumbled upon it between nostalgia for Mordheim and a want to play a Star Wars skirmish game.
So my main question is that on page 52 there is a Special Ability "Short Bow (5)" listed, but a search of the pdf reveals no other mention of "short bow" anywhere in the book! Am I missing something?
Also, while the game handles a Fantasy setting with great variety,
a) I would love some concrete rules for equipment, weapons and the like just for a little more variety among the fighters, and
b) it doesn't have enough to differentiate between modern human combatants for my liking...if I can only splurge on one other rulebook, and had an interest in both Star Wars and Warhammer 40k (at SoBaH's scale, I know about Swatters which looks glorious and might get as well), what's the best book to get? I do like me some crunch, so I've been eyeing off Flying Lead, but I've heard good things (and bad, like no point costs for abilities?) about Mutants and Death Ray Guns. Recommendations?
