I have finally got around to playing the various Songs rules (along with FL, MDRG and F&F) after having them sitting around on my hard drive for ages. I had thought that they didn't have enough 'grain'. Boy was I wrong! It is a beautifully elegant system that delivers a fantastic game in spades.
After a few games now I would be grateful if someone could check that I am doing multiple combats correctly.
Doodles Donovan (my down-at-heel P.I.) is slugging it out against two fiendish cultists. The cultists have the initiative.
I activate one of the cultists who strikes at Doodles. Both roll 1D and add C, but Doodles is at -1 for the additional cultist. I have been playing that the other cultist would then roll for activation before he is allowed to strike at Doodles. Is that right?
Thanks.

Yep ... the activating character and the target get to fight but if you manage to activate the other character as well they can then have a pop as well.
