I played another great game of F&F today against my Son, who just for a change beat me. ;D
One question did arise however.
When do you take the firing at charging monsters test?
Before or after the Fear test and if you fail your Fear test can you still fire?.
Cheers.

hi When a monster is charging you the check for fire test is made when the monster is a 'short ' away from you. THe fear test is made when the monster declares that it is going to charge Therefore in most cases the Fear test would come first as the human can only try to shoot at the charging monster after the monster has declared his intent to charge. The shooting option is a reaction to the the charge but the fear test is made as soon as the charge is declared . Thats how my group thinks it works hope it helps dex

That's correct, if the fear test puts you in a situation where you couldn't fire at the charging monster, you can't perform reactive fire.
