I'm going to run a small late WW1 game and I don't know how many points to give to each side. One player has to capture a farm occupied by the other, and both have plenty of grenades and probably a LMG and/or a sniper. Do you think that 600 vs 400 is fair?

Depends on how big a game you want ... 400 points is not going to be a lot. Personally I would go for either 600 or 800 points each and then keep half the defenders off as reserves. Then test to see if they come on at the end of every turn after turn 1 (so test end of turn 2) - they come on on a 6 then next turn a 5/6 then 4/5/6 and so on. Will give the attackers an initial edge in numbers.
Have fun

Hi Pentaro, I would go with the larger points as suggested by Rich, FL tends to need more points than SoBH warbands due to weapons costs atributed to the characters. The random 'reserves' roll is a good way of keeping things tenseand you could also combine it with a random edge as well. It will keep the attacker on his guard just in case the defender turns up on a flank or worse the rear. Cheers,
Ian
