Well for you outside of the UK, this weekend has been Triples weekend here in not so sunny Sheffield. The new venue at the English Institute of Sport, is really nice, loads of space and decent lighting and it didn't have the normal war-games show 'smell' One thing that i did notice this year was the lack of traders, this may have been because it was a bigger venue, and the lack of participation games. One of the best buys this weekend was my 'Not Star Gate' 15mm miniatures from GZG. In fact they were good my mate who only plays historical war-games played two games of FL and one game of SoBH and is totally hooked on the system. He is even going to introduce FL to his gaming group in Peterborough as they are dissatisfied with some of their skirmish gaming rules. All told, it has been a good weekend for war-gaming in Sheffield this weekend. Now i am off to build my 'not star gate' Ian

Hee hee ... well done, if your mate has any questions about FL or needs more detail for introducing them to his group (I suspect it will be WWII) then get him to mail me!
