If this has been asked and answered already, I've not been able to find it.
This came up when playtesting with my son's new Predator mini. The human player placed an overwatch counter between two pieces of cover (not quite a Short distance apart) after the predator player moved his model behind one of them. During the next turn the Predator moved from one piece of cover to the next, moving a distance of Medium.
At what point does the Overwatch kick in, the moment the Predator moves into LOS or after the Predator finishes the move?
If the former, then Overwatch works as intended. If the latter, then the Predator escapes the Overwatch by slipping back into cover. We played it with the former ruling, which put the Predator into Shaken status and was then killed the next turn. Not a good day to be the Predator!
Also, because the Predator has Stealth, does that affect Overwatch at all in the above example?
Thanks in advance!

Overwatch is triggered as soon as the miniature comes within the overwatch distance from the marker. So you did it right.
Stealth wouldn't effect it in the core rules as they wouldn't be in cover at the time if they were not close enough. If they are close enough (or you have tweaked the rules OR they made a task test to stay in stealth mode) then the OW figure would need to spot before being able to engage.
