I was playing around with the warband generator and I had some questions about the point totals. I'm probably missing something in how it calculates the units, but here goes.
I have a Quality 4, Combat 2 unit and the point cost is 15. I'm assuming that the numbers in parenthesis for the special abilities are the point cost for that ability (maybe I'm wrong). When I add Animal, which is -3, the point total goes down to 11. 15 -3 is 12 not 11. I then add Free Disengage which is 3. The point cost goes back up to 15 from 11. I then add Long Move, which is 10, the point cost should go up to 25 from 15 but instead goes up to 30.
As I said earlier, maybe I'm missing something obvious in how this all gets calculated, if so could someone please tell me how this all works out.
Thanks

the points formula is: total points = (Combat*5) + ability points)*(7-Quality)/2
So, the amount of points an ability costs is based on the number next to it in the generator, but also influenced by the quality of the model.
