Hopefully a simple question: Can a magic-user that's not adjacent to a wooded area transfix a model that's inside the treeline?

Transfix still needs line of sight (SBH pg 10) so the wooded area restrictions on ranged attack line of sight (SBH pg 8/9) says no you can't.
