It's been years since I have had to move and I had forgotten how easy it is for things to get "miss-placed" when you do. We bought our first house at the end of last year, and since then, my gaming hasn't played much role in my free time as life has been keeping me busy. However, I have started going though boxes and slowing gathering my gaming collection (in all its varied forms) together.
Today, my son and I decided to play some Flying Lead instead of mowing the lawn We were going to use some of our AT-43 minis, but just before we started, I came across some paper minis by Oversoul Games that I had put together several years ago. They were origninally intended for their Splatball game, a game based on the neighborhood kidz getting together for some paintball. It's a great little game, but we decided to throw some FL stats together and give it a go--even though we used FL weapons stats (frag grenades, sniper rifles, etc), we pretended everything was in the form on paintball weapons to keep the action light and fun. We also started applying range penalties after the 1st range band to give the models a better chance of getting up close and personal--though HTH combat was not allowed, it's Splatball afterall!
I don't really have a batrep for it, just a couple of pics. I can say that the game started with me popping his "leader" model with some frozen paintballs in the danglies ("Gruesome Kill") and causing lots of moans and cries for Mommy, but ended with my demise as his "snipers" picked off my remaining Boyz. It was a great game!
Here's the pictures, sorry my camera in my phone didn't get very good photos.

I do recommend to those people who like paper minis to check out Oversoul Games. They have some awesome stuff to offer the wargamer community. Check them out here: www.oversoul-games.com/
