I used citadel from 1980s era, which I have a huge collection of, but more and more of my warbands come from Reaper and Hasslefree. For example, my wife uses a female Barbarian warband made up of mixed Reaper viking girl (Leader), Lorna the Huntress, two Cave Girls with three female Citadel 1980s Barbarians (Wonger, Spearmaiden and Horn head), plus a Reaper Succubus converted into a female magic user. Into that mix goes a slightly modified Hasslefree chaos thugette. My warband is made up of custom Bederken Dwergs by, er, my miniatures company.

I am busily painting some 28mm for a dungeon crawl. But have been using my Italeri 54mm 100 Years War figures on Heroscpe to start, I also have some skeletons in the same scale, we've had some great games.

I use re-painted pre-painted D&D miniatures. =) I bought a metric fuck-ton of D&D miniatures over the last few years (~1000 miniatures in my collection). Most have been sorted into bins for my home made copy of Warhammer Quest.
Had so many cool minis left, which I didn't have any use for but didn't feel like selling so I started looking for alternative uses for them. Cue SBH. =D I hate playing with bare metal or plastic, so the pre-paints are great as I'm not very productive when it comes to painting. I do however enjoy painting, so I sometimes re-paint cool sculpts - or atleast touch them up a bit.
Now, I've purchased some metal minis for MDRG and some plastic Star Wars minis for Flying Lead. Good thing I've got a basement to hide all my toys from the Mrs!

I use all sorts, 15mm Chariot Miniatures, 20/25/28mm Caesar, GW - LotR & Fantasy battle, i have got a few war bands in 10mm using Kallistra and GW warmaster. I have GZG, Pendraken(10mm), GW, East Riding, Hassel Free, Table Top Games, West End Games - Starwars for my future scifi games. I then have a lot of plastic 1/72nd for WWII with some Warmodelling thrown in for good measure. I have a ton of stuff, similar warbands in multiple scales :-) The wife isn't over happy as they take up lots of space.....

For SBH, we've mainly used the plastic, pre-painted AD&D minis. Some people also have some sweet Reaper minis.
For FL, the Red Blok and UNA factions from AT-43 have battled it out several times.
Plastic Star Wars minis are also great. There are several factions which have generic soldier types and the clone & stormtroopers obviously work great too.
One guy in the group has used minis from an old game called Void.
I'm sure someone will bust out some 40K minis at some point.
I'm in the process of re-basing some Hero and Horror Clix to use as well.

Ah, I'm really into the Mantic Games stuff at the moment. Took advantage of the free ghouls and my mates got a few Elves, they look great for this sort of thing.
I'm making a skeleton warband.

Reaper, grenadier (al la mega minis), and old Partha minis. I've got some GW, clix, and assorted whatnot in there as well. Once I have more Wargods minis painted up, they'll be making an appearance (because I've never actually played Wargods - I just love the minis).

Not having Fantasy minis of my own. (All my minis are sci-fi) I've been using a friend's minis, which are Reaper, Grenadier and others. Last night he came to the FLGS by bus, so he just tossed a bunch of Heroscape minis into a lunch bag.
I'd never given much thought to Heroscape, but I was pretty impressed by the quality. They "soytenly ayyint" ain't reaper, but the sculpts are pretty good, the sticker basing is better than no base at all, and the paint jobs aren't that much worse than mine. I don't want to invest much in fantasy minis, as my interests are mostly sci-fi, so I'll be keeping an eye out for cheap D&D and Heroquest figs.
In that same vein, I grabbed a bunch of Heroclix (most anything with a gun) from the shops $0.25 bin to rebase for Flying Lead. If someone has extra Heroquest or D&D minis at a similar price PM me.
I think that Ganesha games should make some way of reaching out to all the disaffected CMG gamers out there. There's thousands of people with large collections of minis whose games have been discontinued (Mage Knight, Star wars, Demonblade, etc...) who might be interested in an easy-to-learn, tactically-rewarding way to give their mini's new life.

I use Reaper for the most part. Although, I must admit, I've been eyeing Wargames Factory's plastic Vikings and Saxons. You can get a sample Viking sprue that has enough parts to build 8 warriors for $4.95. And you can equip them however you want. Swords, spears, axes, and bows all come on the sprues. Crank up the Zeppelin, here come the Norsemen!

We use a varied mix of mostly 25-28mm figures - Reaper, GW Warhammer, GE LotR, Rakham, Alkemy, and whatever else we find that we like... That's the best part of SoBH, there are no limits when it comes to what figures to use.

I still have no one to play with but i bought this game to play with paper minis, because i can do my own customized mini and is cheaper than other material minis. I have a lot of DnD minis but i´m trying to use paper minis with this game.
