I thought some of these Fantasy Football figures might be suitable for demon figures in a Buffy type game: theminiaturespage.com/news/7267/As far as I can recall, most of Buffy's opponents were not armed with weapons. Alan

They'd work really well as Buffy esque demons I like the one with the horns and the big hand/claw.

Those figures would be great for Buffy games IMO.
You are right about Buffys opponents rarely using weapons. As they were usually Vampires they were generally unarmed.
The figures that you pointed out look a lot like the demons that populate the Buffy, and in particular Angels world. The demons that they both fought occasionally had weapons alright, but there wasnt a hard and fast rule or anything.
If you get those figure I would love to see some of them painted up.

Those Black Cat ghouls are perfect for KTMH Vampires... SOLD!!! There goes this months minis allowance... now to wait by the letter box to hide them from the wife! BTW: If you look in Black Cat's "The Lost & The Strange" section, there are a number of very nice modesl that can be used for KTMH monsters. There are also a number of really good models (that I just bought ) who are going to get profiles in KTMH... The Book Golem will be The Library Golem... a unique supernatural KTMH ally... well they spend most of there time in libraries (when not hunting monsters) so why would Rowan not use some Awesome Magic to animate the books? The Gumshoe Imp will be the Disguised Demon... a stelathy addtion to the Demon list. The Doctor's Bag! will be a Big Bag of Evil... a stealthy, razor wielding Thing From Beyond. The Forbidden Tome will be The Book from Beyond... a nasty little extra for the Things from Beyond list. If anyone sees any other nice minis, drop me a PM and I'll see if I can't add a profile for it to KTMH. Andy

I actually had not thought of using them for vampires, but you're right, they do have the right look for not-Buffy vampires.

Those Black Cat ghouls are perfect for KTMH Vampires... SOLD!!! ...and... I actually had not thought of using them for vampires, but you're right, they do have the right look for not-Buffy vampires. I finished painting two of those ghouls last night actually. I had intended to use them as "Hunter" zombies (one of the special zombie types from the "Left 4 Dead" video game if you know it). Weirdly, it never occured to me to use them as Buffy-esque vamps. But you are right, they are ideal. Better get a couple more then I suppose... If anyone sees any other nice minis, drop me a PM and I'll see if I can't add a profile for it to KTMH. I picked up a couple of Helldorado figures recently that I was also planning to use for F&F/KTMH games. Maybe they might be suitable for stat-ing up for the book? They are pretty repulsive and quite suitable for a few things. I think that they fit in Buffys world pretty well (particularly if the show had had a bigger budget...). Sorry that the pictures are a little large (I cant seem to resize them on the forum). The guy above is on a 40mm base, so he is quite big. I have also been painting up some Resident Evil figures for gaming with, but I would think that profiles for them would be more suited for the upcoming Zombie supplement. Although I havent located suitable figures for all of them yet, stats for Buffy and Scooby Doo characters are what *I* am looking for in KTMH. I am pretty sure that they will be included regardless however

As was hinted at in another thread... there are two other groups of "rival" monster hunter profiles in the book... The Supernatural Mystery Detectives - some pesky kids with their cowardly dog... and... The Class of 4C - a group of potty-mouthed junior school monster hunters... one of whom seems to get killed quite often... Plus some extras for each of the groups, like the Elderly Night Watchmen with his Flashlight! Andy

was curious when i saw the CLASS OF 4C mentioned in the scenario list posted by Beer Ogre. I wondered what it was .
This does raise a question , who makes suitable figures for kids ? I know Hasslefree do a few , but are there any other suitable ones? The only kid figures i have are the Monster Patrol from Horrorclix.

Impressive monsters.
Kids: hasslefree and horroclix. I have purchased a few teenager skaters that I'll use in KTMH and the zombie supplement, but I can't remember the manufacturer. They were in a discount bin at a convention (Origins).
