I have no idea what the Giant Monster rules will entail, but I am so keen to get the rules that I am making a start: The block between the two monsters is a prototype cardboard building that I designed to see if I could in fact make one. It turned out ok, so now I need to design one that can be printed out that includes windows etc.

I have a few bits and pieces ready too. I am looking forward to this system quite a lot actually Mechagodzilla and some fire trucks and motorcycle cops. Power Rangers and their Zord (Daidenjin) Gamera and some heroes and scenario objective types (like Fay Wray in the original King Kong and a tiny kid like in the Gamera movies) Alien Mothership, Saucers and robots, plus Devastator the Decepticon. I have some more infantry based to look like crowds of people. Hopefully some kaiju will get power/health by eating civilians, like in the Rampage video games. It would be cool if emergency services could shepherd crowds around the board. It could make the game feel like a disaster I think. I still dont have a standard military force. I will get around to prepping those guys once the release date is a bit closer. I am looking forward to trying to make up some super-science units. For terrain I will be using a lot of the old GW Epic buildings. They are great but they have been OOP for a very long time now. I also have a few models of landmarks from holidays that I or my friends have been on (Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Giza Pyramids etc). You have to wreck a few landmarks in kaiju games Really cant wait for this system. The Ganesha take on kaiju sounds like the ideal way to game the genre.

Nice collection cheetor - what did you use for the police and fire brigade? once the rules are out I will look at human armies, but at this stage I am starting on a few monsters and need to do a lot more research as to what is on the market. Thanks for the link andrea - they look a bit more advanced than what I am trying to build

Nice collection cheetor - what did you use for the police and fire brigade? The police are very old GW Imperial Guard plastic bikers. I added a tiny bit of plastic banner pole to the back of each bike to serve as a blue/red flashing light. The yellow hi-vis jackets are fun too. They look good as modern/near future cops I think. The fire brigade is made from two old plastic 6mm GW Rhino APCs that were chopped up and stuck back together until they became one long APC. I then added a piece of another 6mm Ork vehicle that looked vaguely like a ladder to the top of the fire truck , along with some more banner pole pieces to serve as warning lights. I also addeda windsceen dfrom styrene strip and a small piece of plastic to serve as a rolled up hose. The Firemen themselves are made from 6mm GW plastic Commissar models. I trimmed their huge hats a bit but really all that makes them look like firemen is the paint scheme. Here is what a bunch of that stuff looks like in game Thats a great loking table squirmydad

Thanks for the heads up on the model buildings Squirmydad - I will have a good look at those.
Cheers Cheetor - I might have a handful of epic figures in a junk box somewhere that I could do something similar.
