Hello everyone!
I hope it is the right place to post questions on ASOBH, too.
If not, please direct me to the right place.
Two days ago I had my first game of ASOBH. I got 8 of my friends to play a single game on a printed maze board. We played together a single 9-sided (!) game with everyone leading a 3-4 band of various creatures fighting an epic "last man standing" battle. The game prooved to be very fast, very playable, easy to learn (only me and one person had read the rules before the game). It was FUN with ratman band flooding the maze and drawning evereryone not having a long tail in the end...
However we had a few questions:
1. Trampling. One of the bands consisted of Bestigors so we gave them the trampling. It prooved much more deadly then expected. Does it work in opponent's turn too? Is the free-hack +2 and deadly?
2. Long reach. One of the bands were spear-armed skaven so they got the Long Reach. Does the figures with long reach not being in direct base-contact provide the outnumber bonus? If yes when - in the own turn only or in each turn?
3. As a backer I got a pdf rules set, however it seems they might be incomplete. Eg. in band lists there is a shield-wall mentioned and I cannot fing any other reference anywhere else. I might not have the final version... there have been a few playteste rules. How to check if my version is final...?
regards
