hello Sergio
here there are some new italian players, we like your skirmish system and we played 6-7 games in the last month. We use 28mm miniatures (mainly Front Rank and Victrix).
The book is nice to read, the rules are very good, the games are enjoyable. We like a lot the size of the game, it's easy to make more squads, so more different miniatures to paint!!!
In your SDS blog our preferences are: more scenarios more ready made squads
About the new rules we like small games, not too many miniatures, so absolutely company size game! We love 28mm and we hope your system will be more a big skirmish company size than a battalion size game (like Lasalle or Sharp Practice, with 80-100 miniatures). At the end doesn't care we only like to move some unit, could be 2-4 units, column, lines, square, a couple of guns, some cavalry pieces in a standard 120x120cm or 120x180cm table, nothing more...
best
Paolo

Paolo, thank you for your requests about the blog: I posted today a new squad (Bavarians) and soon there will be more.. As for the scenarios, I am working on them and after some playtesting we will release them. The new company level game will require some 50 figures per side, but in the end you'll find yourself moving a maximum of 8 squads, plus the leaders.... hope you'll like it! Keep following us Sergio P.S. where are you from?

hi sergio,
i'm with Paolo on this, i'm another member who voted for company sized games for the next rule set,
hopefully you can keep the feel of SDS with larger sized forces.
regards
jim
