Hi, I love the Flying Lead rules and am going through my HeroClix creating a squad of Non-Super heroes to battle the forces of Evil.
I am running into a conundrum as to how to best represent Captain America's shield. Technically I guess it would be Mobile Fortified Cover, but I can not find an appropriate ability to assign to represent this.
I see that Difficult Target, from Fear and Faith, gives you a +1C on ranged defensive attacks, but I +1C is not enough for Cap. I would like to see something in the line of a Mobile Cover ability for weapons to represent SWAT Shields and other portable protective devices. Maybe I am missing an ability description somewhere.
Any thoughts on a Mobile Cover ability?

Why not try the force field from Mutants and death ray guns? Work out the combat as usual and if he loses roll a 5+ to negate the attack and make it a draw. This is quite good as most attacks will be deflected but a determined foe will still harm the Hero.

We just count it as body protection meaning if they lose combat by 1 it still counts as a drawn combat.
If you want it stronger count CA as being obscured as well like a body armoured character behind a wall etc.

I would say, to use Capt America in FL, you could just give him a high C score, Acrobat and Body armor, combat fiend and strong. Or you just wait for Power Legion ;-) Opponents should be Mooks.

I did not even think about how this would apply to superheroes. I guess I work on building Batman and some of the villains surrounding him.
